The 3rd avenue parking ticket situation is getting bad. I spoke, as a rep of
the SFBA, to Sue Lee (249-1200x60) in the City planners dept. Basically,
they dont like windsurfers, they didnt want to build the access in the first
place, the BCDC made them do it, they need the revenue, and they eventually
want to sell the land for development so why would they make improvements.
Their postion is that WS'ers are sheap because they dont want to spend the
4$ for coyote, so the tickets serves them right. Sombody need to pick up the
fight on this. Any volunteers?
