I just returned from Baja and while there my finger tips on my right hand went
numb. It was worse while sailing and at night it would wake me up while I was
sleeping. The doctor gave me a wrist splint and lots of ibuprofin. Says its
carpoltunnel syndrome. It does not seem to be getting any better. My fingers
tingle all the time and go numb when sailing or using my hand for anything.
Could tens years of sailing do this? I have not heard other sailors talk about
this problem. Anyone out there have the same ailment and/or know what to do
about it?
