I have sailed pretty frequently since 1978 to 1995, now I practically don't
sail at all. Why? Certain pains react after sailing. I figure if it always
going to hurt why do it?? Yes, I love sailing but some things just don't
get better. Here is what pains I attribute to long years of sailing and
assisted by being a physical work kind of guy: numbness from time to time
in hands, right arm tennis elbow and a ball of toe injury/bunyon
development from hard footstrap work in high wind, waves and bad landings.
I am not blaming windsurfing, just time and age I guess.
