The Davis Point sensor is owned by NWS, and reports hourly by various means.
Notice also that the iW versions of the reports are in MPH, not knots.

Fregzample today's 1104 Angel Island report (from NWS's SFODARDC) says 220
21 00 meaning 220 degrees, 21 knots average, gust unavailable. iWindsurf
re-interprets this (or gets it from another NWS report) as "SW 24 mph",
which in this case is only off by 5 degrees.

The Davis point sensor is alleged to be 18 meters (I think that's "altitude"
but they call it "height"), and is located at 38:03N 122:16W. I think you
can home terraserver.com or similar to the coordinates and find the sensor.
