I did see some fog/low clouds over the hills while I was sailing, but I guess it wasn't
enough.

So maybe that's what I need to do. Go out farther. Next time I go, I'll send out a message
beforehand and hopefully others will join in. Then we can all go out
far together.

I sail mostly RIO, so I don't have any Bay safety gear (2-way radio, flare, etc..).
I try to sail only as far out as I could paddle in from if my rig broke. However, if
I got injured, .... that's another story...
