I hate to hype Berkeley (except to my reluctant buddy) - just increases traffic.

However: I sailed there (His Lords, to be further out) about a week after the spill and it was still very noticeable, as greatly increased odor. But that was about 4 weeks ago. I sailed there again about 2 weeks ago and no significant odor. Therefore, as former Certified Industrial Hygienist (!), it must be safe.... :)

I certainly inadvertantly drink copious amounts of the Bay at both Isabel and Berkeley and have noticed no unusual symptoms. Of course you may ask what does that signify, in any case.
