- That sounds like an entirely reasonable lifetime to me, particularly
for someone your size. To get more you'd have to pay a weight penalty
I suspect. I'd "like" my boards to last longer, but I wouldn't be
dissapointed with a board that lasted that long.

- I certainly see no reason not to get another one from the above.
In the past I've gotten new boards because they sail so much better,
not because I've "worn them out". I've averaged a new board every
3 years or so since I've moved to the bay area. My '97 Seatrend 8'9"
is starting to look a little long in the tooth, but still seems to
be going strong.
