I'm tring to figure out Flying Tigers and the whole SFO closure of it for my
dealings with SFO and their runway plans. Was Tigers originally launched from
North Access Road? Is the current Fed Ex building what was Tigers? If so, I
presume the launch was at the nend in the road where there is an open field
west of the fuel tanks that is behind barbed wire. Was the whole North Access
Road restricted? If this is the spot, the security argument seems stupid
given that anyone can drive all the Way around to the Coast Guard station and
executive terminal.
Now I guess the launch is buy the big building going up? Is it downwind of
the building or on the shore alongside?
