Sergei,

Two reports? Who wants two reports? I sure don't.

I don't think raw data hasn't been posted in ages. There's almost always
some calibration, because there needs to be due to the sensor's placement.
The third avenue sensor was essentially useless before the recalibration.
It would be nice to know about calibration changes and COTW might be willing
to use email to notify users.

Why don't you pick up the phone and call Jim Martin at COTW with
constructive ideas. He's a really nice guy and is always looking to improve
his service.

By the way there is a competitor. It's called windsight and it stinks.
There won't be any others because there's no money in it. And you can't just
put your sensors where ever you feel like it since most organizations don't
want anything to do with "liability" issues from people threatening to sue
all the time.

If the service is so bad you can always drop it. Personally I think COTW is
a lot better than the weather radio which is all we had here in the old
days.

I have a proposal for the callwind guys:
(support@windcall: Do you hear me?)

1. Post TWO wind reports, with:
        - raw data
        - corrected data

AND

2. Announce any changes to the correction coefficients

Then I would probably wait with my lawsuit :-)
Wireless sensors on the buoys would still be better, but I can
wait until a competitor enters the scene.
