John,
That's my current favorite (and only, unfortunately) board and I
sail regularly at several locations you listed. I'm 6'6" and 185 lbs and
almost always use the excellent G10 teardrop 35cm fin that came with the
board, with sails ranging from 7.5 down to 5.8. I usually switch to
smaller fin when I sail with my 4.9. It sometimes gets a bit bouncy in
Berkeley, Isabel, and Rod&Gun chop, but use of knee action (skiing moguls)
and steering around worst situations usually minimizes problems (except for
a spectacular crash two weeks ago at R&G, OP'd on my 4.9....).

I really love this board and it rewarded me yesterday at Marina
Bay/Pt. Isabel during one of the nicest, consistent wind weekend days this
year (used my 6.7 sail). Lovely jibe area over in "chop shadow" of Brooks
Island.

I agree with all the other good advice you've already received.
When I get tired, the first thing I notice is dramatic reduction in jibe %.
Even just delaying a waterstart (if well suited up!) for a rest seems to
help.

However, if you really don't like your board, what do you want for
it? :)

                Good luck,

                        David
