We did the Long Day. left at 5:30am, picked up a friend, headed east.
Chain control at Applegate, then an hour of 25mph, and CC was lifted.
Boreal was windy, 2 lift closed, so we proceeeded over the hill to
Northstar, finally getting on the lifts by 11 and finding 6-8" of soft
stuff and no wind.

Marina got to slide with her best buddy all day, which beats hangin with
yer Dad, ya know. Dad got to slide with Mom (she on shaped skis and
loving them). Everybody pushing it and improving, no injuries this time.
Marina's starting to jump, I'm exploring the powder off the beaten track
and learning to work those steep banks so someday I'll be jumpin in the
half pipes. We started strapping in while on the lift too - get off and
just keep goin...
