Went to crissy on Friday. The wind looked
light so I went with the big stuff, 6.2/9'6" (200#).
Ft. point was my destination - the waves were
looking pretty good.

Got up to the gate in two reaches, about 6 other
folks on race gear playing in the waves. On one
of the waves I lost focus and got too close to the
surfers. I did not think so, but hey, I am just a
stupid windsurfer.....

Little old stupid me did not realize that these are
their waves, must have missed the signs.....I missed
my jibe and was quickly pounced upon by 4
morons on surf boards. They started to beat up
my gear telling me to get out of 'their waves'. One
of them got up on my sail and started to jump up
and down. I was attempting to more away and water
start, but they were holding me down.

After about 5 minutes of this verbal and physical abuse
I took off. Good thing I had on my 'gay' helmet - they
attempted to punch me, but connected with the surface
of my helmet instead of my face.

What a bunch of assholes.........they put 3
dings in my sail.......next time I will make my turns on
top of their heads - just kidding. I guess they were so
jealous of sailors tearing up their waves that this
was the only way to take out their frustration. These
dudes made some major withdrawals from their karma
accounts...........Upon further analysis, I decided that my 9
month old daughter has more maturity and ability
to deal with frustrating situations.

So to all the folks on windtalk who surf - what is up with
this stupid gang mentality, and 'this is my wave' way
of thinking? I don't get it, but hey, I am just a stupid
windsurfer.
