Anyone have any advice on buying new sails? I currently have
1993 twincam monofilm slalom sails (sizes 5.9, 5.3, 4.8, and a
wave 4.1---- 160lbs), and was dreaming of buying some new stuff
at any end-of-year sales. (I'm cost conscious.)
1. I don't know what brands are good/bad anymore.
2. What sizes? Justin indicated that with his North race sails,
he runs 1m bigger than older sails (improved windrange? or
    no low end?)
3. Are the cyber-race / gastra flow pointy top sails better?
    Or just the new fad?
4. Some people believe that I should stick with one manufacturer
for my quiver. I dont understand why.

Thanks,

PS For someone graduating from Shoreline, my vote is Candlestick
because it has flat water. Just stay near shore until waterstarts
are mastered. Coyote/3rd/Crissy are tougher because of the
chop.
