yes, mo down and out makes it handle mo wind mo bettah.

I tend to use a wide range of down, depending on the wind, and find my
Nalus quite stable at all settings. more down = more twist up high and
less draft. more down requires a bit more out. Rigging is pretty
straightforward, no real secrets. Watch the leech as you pull down, check
the draft as you pull out.

My biggest Nalu is the 5.25, maybe the 5.7 is pushing the envelope for
this design? Maybe you were pushing the envelope for the wind strength?
