Gulftech has changed the manufacturing technique of their booms, the
durability needs to be proven. They used to be hand layed prepreg and lasted
forever. They now have farmed out the manufacture of their booms, where
they're made from some sort of injection molding process. May be just as
strong, I don't know.

I've got 3 Dynafiber booms that I've been very happy with. Very strong. Small
sized grip too.
