Thanks
I think that is what I'll do until I get a mesh fanny pack.
Think I'll attach a line from the stuff in the pack to the pack so when
the pack bursts all the gear stays with me.

Was thinking it might make sense to get a vest and have D-Rings sewn in
by a shoemaker with brass clips that I then attach to strobe and
booties. Maybe I could make something quite strong out of the WalMart
$20 life vest.... I like walking with booties, but hate sailing in
them. I also put them on when I break down to keep feeet warm.

Hmmm....maybe get Jim's Awl and run line in and out and tie line to
brass clips. I've gotten pretty tired of spewing my gear all over the
bottom of the bay. Might even sew in a mesh inside pocket for a
radio....

Jim...I keep booties inside vest which together act as a great flak
jacket when I crash....Vest has had zero flotation for yrs, but.....8-)

trying again today?
