Last spring, Josh Angulo, Brian Caserio etc, and a film crew showed up
at Davenport on a big day (logo to mast high plus). One of the film crew
guys told me they had planned on filming at Mavericks, but there wasn't
enough wind. Rumour has it that several locals have sailed there in the
past.

My question is, has anyone ever sailed Mavericks? Wouldn't the wind
have to be blowing really northerly to make it even side/on? Are
conditions ever right to even attempt it?.....
