I've never heard of anyone doing so, and since it wasn't until a couple of
years ago that this spot was discovered for even surfing by anyone except a
few hardcores, I suspect this might be one of those sporting "firsts" left out
there. Maybe Robby or some Maui guys will fly over to be the ones.

Here are some swell readings from a local buoy, during the big blow.
The period was relatively short cause they were locally generated, but
look at the size (vertical)! Anyone sail Mavericks?
