In the Bay, I have used windsight's 12:00~2:00 forecasts this summer
when I was not sure what was happening from the e-mail reports and I
wanted a second opinion - maybe 10 or 20 times. I have gotten several
days of sailing that I probably would have blown off or gone to the
wrong place. I've had a few misses, too, but on the whole it's been a
win.

Anyone else have an assessment of windsight's performance?

I'd love to get records of Windsight's Coyote forecast every day
and compare to the recorded winds at SFO. I've done this with
NWS forecasts and the standard deviation was 5 knots!!
