Actually, I disagree with that. The bottom slopes down faster than at
Waddell. The waves look small but tend to break rather hard. And
Waddell has really small surf on most summer days, quite comparable
with the beach break near Tuba.

The most critical down side is that the wind is offshore. So if you
break something in the shore break, it's fine, you can just walk to
the beach. But if you break something out at the sand bars I think
you have a problem. ---Luigi
