Does Grandma believe in statistics? I can probably prove to her that it is
more likely that she (or you) will be plowed over by a grocery delivery van
(a Spam Wagon?) while crossing the street than it is that you will be killed
dead while windsurfing. Maybe you should take some pictures of all the over
60 windsurfers around here and send them to Grandma as proof that the sport
is highly survivable ( even if it delivers a fare share of bumps, bruises,
hematomae, etc.).
