Definitely true. A strong ebb could be 4 knots pulling you into the wind
versus a strong flood of 4 knots pulling you away from the wind. You can rig
bigger board, fin and/or sail to help, but if you are near your threshhold,
it could easily be the difference between not sailing or sailing down to
Ghirardelli Square reagrdless of how strong a desire you had to land back at
Crissy.
