Because of my work, I've owned just about every van out there. I used to put in
over 30,000 miles a year -
so I know vans. If you want 'great' mileage like 10 miles to the gallon(!) go
ahead and get a Ram 2500 or an Avalanche.
(I can't believe they still make vans w/ that get that kind mileage! The
avalanche gets like 16hwy?). SO, if you like lining the pockets of OPEC go
ahead. The Toyota and Honda get around 20 mpG! My old Toyota is still running
with 250,000 without major overhauls. That's more than you can say for the
Aerostar. . .Just ask anyone who's owned one of those pieces of sh*%.

If you need the more power and you may want to haul a trailer then I recommend
the GMC Safari. Mini, V6, rear wheel drive (the only one left that still has
this option) and 18 mpg fully loaded, plus it will hold your 10' log inside.
Otherwise stick to the Honda and Toyota. There are some good deals now out
there on '95 Previas too.
Good Luck!
