Why not Naish 8'6"? I am around #210-#215 myself and the 8'6" is my bigger
board for that exact sail range. I love the board - turny, very
controllable in the air, lots of nose scoop. I sailed it Monday with a 4.7
at the OB - felt quite allright even in those windy conditions. I would
definitely add it to the list for consideration.

One reason that I went with Naish (I was also considering JP 265 at the
time) is that people told me that its construction is much more bomb-proof.
In fact, I've been sailing and abusing it in the waves for a season and 1/2
now with no signs of significant damage (except a few pieces of epoxy
chipped off the nose).

Subject: looking for input on wave boards

My trusted Enduro is close to it's death - takes on water each session,
feels sluggish, etc. The board is circa 1998, about 90-95L. So it's time
for a new ride. I don't have time to demo boards this year, got a new gig
at my company. I was hoping some folks on this board would have some
feedback.

I am considering the following 2001 boards:
1. JP Wave 258 (90L)
2. JP Wave 261 (96L)
3. Seatrend Comp Wave 263 (93L)
4. AHD Power wave 263 (94L)

A bit more about myself. I am 210#, looking for board which will work with
5.3-5.7 wave sails. Need to able to slog the mother between sets in
Waddell. I am an intermediate wave sailor. Occasionally, I'd like to use
this board in the Bay on the Delta, but this is secondary to good wave
performance. I have a smaller wave board, RRD MPE 258 (83L) which is sick
once the wind gets to around 4.7.

If anyone has first hand experience w/the above boards, I would love to
hear about it.
