All kidding aside. Last year when I was at 3rd Ave on a light day another
windsurfer (who shall go nameless)
was showing me his new VHF and it's ability to summons the Coast Guard. He
also inquired what i thought it cost to get a chopper out from SF (i told him
about $14,000.oo).
He rigged and went out, even though it was only blowing about 6mph he went
all the way out into the channel and fell in for about 10 minutes. I watched,
concerned, but after uphauling he slogged back. About 2 minutes later there
was the Coast Guard helecopter circling where he had fallen in. Looking very
nervous he climbed in his truck.
My guess is he was testing the thing.

Some friends of mine are in the Coast Guard here. They have a band that they
would like you all to check out sometime. It's called, "Visitor 42." You can
find there music on MP3.com. they've only made $33.33
So download and help the boys in the red & white! If you ever see them live
bring your earplugs!! It's Loud!!

As far as iWindsurf it's worth every penny in saved gas and time.
