Of course wind speed at 300' above the water doesn't neccesarily say much
about what is happening at 5-10 feet above the water at Crissy. That
differential has a lot to do with why the kites are smoking along when we are
stuck on the beach. They can run on less wind, but there is also a big jump
between what is happening at 5-10' over the water vs. 50-100' over the water.
