Picture of the board can be seen at
http://mechsys2.me.berkeley.edu/pam/Windsurfing/StolenBoard.jpg

The board was cut off from my car roof rack on the night of 6/5/00.
The car was parked on the street on Arlington Avenue in Berkeley, CA.

Description:
· ASD polyester/glass board. Says ASD on the nose.
· Originally a wave board but had its tail cut off and rail shape
modified to make it a small slalom board.
· Now about 7'8" and 60 liters. About the size of a large kiteboard.
· Heavy for its size. Over 17 pounds.
· Blue Graphics outline with main deck area that used to be hot pink.
Now faded mottled pinkish yellowish color.
· Blue Decktech footpads
· Bottom, tail, and rails are *PAINTED WHITE*. (This was done after
  the picture was taken.)

Accessories
The following items were with the board at the time it was stolen:
· Dakine RaceLight footstraps. (Not the same as the ones pictured)
· Chinook 2-bolt mast base
· Finworks Wing 310 Chinook box fin. Writing on the fin includes:
     Finworks
     Wing 310 Larry Tuttle Design
     Span 31.0cm/12.25" Area 225cm Aspect ratio 4.3 sail 4.5<>5.5
Unique characteristics of the fin are:
  · 35in2 hand written on the top edge (area that would go inside the
    fin box)
  · The tip of the fin has been drawn on with red ink. (To simulate
blood. Yes, the fin has history!!)

If you happen to spot this board at a flea market or at a beach
somewhere, or have any information regarding these items, please contact
Pam at (510)524-2814, email pam@me.berkeley.edu.-DeleteThis Or just call the Police.
I don't think it's possible to mistake another board for this one!!

Thank you,

pam
