Some great stories from the weekend-here's another-

Friday evening stopped by "the sign" and had an amazing ebb session. 4.5-
5.0 so the gear was on my car. From there I was Sierra bound to meet a
group of friends for high mountain car camping and partying.

The drive was great all backroads through the delta, while all my friends
were stuck in traffic. I left the east bay at 2:30 sailed from 3:30 till
7:30 then made it to our campsite at the near end of a 20 mile dirt 4x4
road. Friends who left the city at 2:30 arrived after me. The next morning
the view was amazing a huge lake surrounded by peaks covered in snow. To
one end was a dam and the other end was an amazing waterfall. The lake ran
basically east to west. The first day was highlighted by a bald eagle
fishing 40feet from our morning coffee site. Then a mountain bike ride and
bear sighting. The wind seemed strong but unsure.

The next day, rigged my 6.4 and saxo 270 -wind was up and steady. I sailed
around the bay we were on then up wind to a larger reach, small chop, steady
fun wind and a view of snow and mountains in both directions. No waves, no
crazy stuff just

"don't know till you find out" fun.
