Is 15 hours normal?

I had heard it was significantly more.

Hey Gerry-
Glad you did well at La Ventanna - I'm not sure if everybody wants to hear
my San Carlos trip report- but for general interest I'll just give the short
version...

Was there Friday 4/14 to Saturday 4/22. Sailed 7 out of the 9 days, surfed
most days. Sails and boards ranged from op'd on a 4.2/ 8'2'' to nicely
powered on a 5.2/ 8'6'' (175 lbs). Swell was mostly head highish at the
point, waist to chest high at the beach break. The last 2 days a S. swell
came in and it got significantly bigger - up to around mast high at the
point and the "chili bowl". It was a great trip with fun conditions - you
get so many bottom turns there it is unreal. We had a good group who went
(some of whom are on Wind_talk), and had fun.

The trip drive time was about 15 to 16 hours from leaving the peninsula to
arriving at the beach.

Brad
