I don't know if my friend is watching this list, but he went to Windy Cove
on Monday and said it was too Windy, That is a first in my 19 years of
sailing the Delta, his smallest sail was a 3.5. He ended back at Folsom with
me and the others, Folsom was 4.2-5.0 ish most of the Day.

I don't think he actually sailed it, He is plenty capable, the others were
getting blown away.
I usually give it a go, no matter what? Last year in Tomales the same thing
happened it was averaging 38 or so,gust to 50, just too much wind.

This is a good start to the season!

Any other reports......Steve

Did anyone make it up to Windy Cove on Monday or Tuesday to sail that great
North wind? What were the conditions like? It was tough to sit in the
office and watch it go off up there.

BTW, sailed 3rd on Sunday 1:00->4:00; flat 4.5m2/8'3"/165lbs sailor. Was
ebbing, but swell, although nicely shaped earlier in the session, was
suprisingly moderate in size. Overall, a very very good day.
