Hey Steve,

You're welcome. In my humble opinion, the best places to learn to wavesail
are unfortunately, not in California but in Maui, or Mexico. I've heard
great things about the Solo Sports wave clinic held in San Carlos every
spring. Even though each is a trip, they could actually cost you less money
as you will inevitably break gear in Norcal in the shorepound. As far as
Zeev goes, if they weren't malicious in nature, my apologies.

I think I started this thread with the question about where the best place
to go would be for someone new to waves (but not to windsurfing). I
appreciate your feedback, along with the others. It helps me put into
perspective the challenges/dangers that await me and level of preparedness
needed to go out in those conditions. Thanks a lot!

BTW: I don't think Zeev's comments were intended as a slam -- at least I
didn't read it that way.
