Highly doubtful that a great white shark would be that far down in the
bay. I've spoken to people in the coast guard (who obviously spend a
lot of time out on the bay) and they claim to see whites near the Golden
Gate or in the outer bay.

I've seen many Leopard Sharks at Candlestick, Coyote, & 3rd. Just
because you saw 'a fin' doesn't mean that it was a white shark.
