Jay and others:

I talked to Mary Bates Huntley of the F.C. Parks and Rec Dept. on Tuesday.
The City is moving rapidly toward closing down the old access road. Caltrans
told them "if you want to keep using it then buy it". If we want to hold the
option open to use this area for parking we need to act fast. I would be
happy to attend a strategy meeting if Jay or others would organize it. I
can't meet Monday the 24 or Weds the 26, other than that I am available after
work and weekend pms.

Mary also says the City will soon mark the first three spaces and the "no
parking" area in front of the gate at the south end as handicapped parking
stalls, as required by law, so we're losing a little parking already.
