Peter,

We should inform the San Mateo residents on the H101 south 3rd and
Poplar street freeway accesses about the prospect of having thousands of
new commuter cars driving by them at 4:30pm each day from unprecedented
Burlingame zoned buildings. Let's generate an informative leaflet on
these impacts and distribute it to the residents on the 101S access
(east and west 101 residential streets) from Coyote. To mitigate their
concerns developers would need to fund an expensive south bound freeway
access at Coyote or build within the current zoning restriction. The
drive-in development will be an important zoning precedent. Please send
me the relevant traffic info for a flyer and let's get the local S.M.
residents involved. The S.M. property tax payers have clout in this
process. Let's motivate the San Mateo planning commission (besides the
SFBA) to sue Burlingame not to allow an unprecedented ~10 story zoning
exception on the waterfront that will increase the Bayshore frontage
commute traffic nightmare and is a fuse to other development abuses.

regards,

-Shawn
