Update for Boardsailors
March 18, 1999

The Crissy Field Restoration project continues. During construction,
the Golden Gate National Parks Association would like to continue access
for all boardsailors. This access is contingent upon maintaining the
safety of all boardsailors and construction personnel.
The shoreline clean-up is nearly complete. Parking is available near the
Anita Rock area and at the Cypress Grove parking area.
For the safety of all Crissy Field users, do not drive across or park
your vehicles along the shoreline promenade. Park Police are enforcing
all safety regulations at the site.
During the week, boardsailors are restricted from taking off or landing
on the beach within one hundred feet of working equipment and are
required to comply with directions of construction personnel on the
site. Have a great day at Crissy Field, but do cooperate with these
measures and give the heavy equipment wide berth so that we can keep
this area open to you.
Thank you for your patience while we work to make Crissy Field a
beautiful shoreline park for your enjoyment.
For information updates, please call the Crissy Field Hotline at
(415) 561-4844.
