I plan to leave 12/21/98 in my 96 ford E350 van, pulling a 15' dual-axle
house trailer. this rig has been tested and approved on Abreojos
washbord 18 months ago. return ETA 1/3/99.
the crew so far is me and Marina, my 15 y.o. daughter, and another 15 y.o.
boy Robert. (they don't know each other yet!) My copilot has bailed, so
i'm looking for another adult experienced
driver/camper/surfer/sailor/diver.
the plan has been to meet another buddy Dave with his wife Robyn and 3yo
daughter Shanti in Mulege where he has a 26'sailboat on a trailer, and 4x4
truck, then explore to San Sebastian, slighly south of Bahia Concepcion.
However, time is compressing and the map is expanding. I would consider
making the Wall the Destination. I have a couple buds who just left for
there yesterday...
this is not strictly a boardhead trip. I'm the only windsurfer (so far)
this is a mission of exploration, of fun, of course all the standard toys
will be on board.
