Looking at the water at 3rd on Friday 9-11-98, saw no wind and no whitecaps.
But something red was spotted, and after much discussion we decided it
was a board. I paddled the kayak out there and found that it was a
sail, still rigged on a mast but with no booms. I towed it back to
the ramp.
So, somebody lost a sail and mast, maybe Thursday or Wednesday or ?.
It was lost from Coyote or 3rd or ?.
Add to the found list:
Neil Pryde 5.5 and mast. Lost on 9-10 or ?.
True owner only please. This sail will not be returned until the
story is told. Where did the boom go?
