For wind you need pressure gradient between SF and Sacto. Fog
and heat do not always equal pressure gradient. It will eventually blow,
and when it does, it will be good - heat breaking wind is always strong
and steady. Get your work done now.....Wed/Thurs should have some nice
sailing.....

I expect a detailed write up of the burning man festival (offend me,
PLEASE!!!!).
Would love some pictures as well.

Subject: Weather Question
Does anyone have simple/clear explanation (not just el nino) for why the
"old standby" of a fog bank at the Golden Gate and hot inland didn't
produce nice steady afternoon winds last Saturday at Berkeley or Pt.
Isabel??
Thanks in advance...
David
