Guess I needed needed a close friend(emotional support) to go out to that
Rock with me. Waves mast high. I'm a big whimp! Sailed in the shore
waves instead. Broad, Waist-head, Jacking Hollow, low tide, closing ffast
with a boom. I went for the lip a dozen times and got rolled those same
dozen. Need better timing I suppose. 3.3, 7'8" glass day(110#s),
~ave24mph. Sailed 2-5pm with some recovery breaks. Made away with a fat
lip and blue thumbnail. When does wavesailing get a little less brutal?
Some of those drops had no bottoms and created loopy butterflies inside.
Sailed the break alone for half the time. The guys did Rock practice in
mast high surf for prospective weekend shoot with Erik(Photog Windtracks,
Winsurfing, Sailing World)out there in a boat.
