Peter,

What do you think of that Saxo 270? Can you uphaul on it? How does it go
upwind? How does it handle the waves?

A 5.3 would have done earlier. I had my roughly 180 pounds planing and
comfortably powered on a 5.2 and a 95 liter Saxo 270 from about 4:00 to
5:30
and managed to make Fort Point for some major swells. By the time I came
back
down wind I was barely planing and working hard for it. The pager read 23
or
24 when I went out. It was ranging from 18 to 21 after 6:00.
