My quiver for next year will be 7.3, 7.8, 8.2 and I weigh 195#.
When conditions call for my 7.3, I could also be on my 5.75 Naish
Nalu. If I am OP on my 7.3, then I can definitely sail my 5.3 Revo.
If you just want a sail for light wind days, then all you need is a
7.8, or maybe a 7.3 if you are a lot lighter than me.

Better to have big gear than small when it goes to 10. At least you
aren't swimming. Plus, 10 is good for practicing light air tricks.
Sailing in light winds is not hateful so long as:
1. You don't have to travel to far.
2. Your board doesn't sink
