Mike Godsey formerly of Windsight does the COTW forecasts. The bay has so
many factors involving wind, that it is difficult for anyone to predict. He
is the best predictor of conditions I have found. Rarely does he completely
miss, and I have at least 5 more days at the coast this year that I wouldn't
have been there without his forecast.

Thanks.

WHat about COTW or other forecasts? I keep considering joining, but the
stuff I read says the reliability isn't that good. Also, NWS usually
says 15 to 25 and it usually blows 15-25 SOMEWHERE on the Bay most
days...what I care about is a prediction for over 20 at 3rd or Sherman
from the good direction and not this 5 to 25 Sh*t we've gotten alot of
this yr. I've started skipping some of these 5-25 days, especially on
flood days and my lawn looks alot better for it. (I'd prefer a shabby
lawn and consistent wind).

Lets all whine tomorrow and Sat for sure!
