If you have a chance to make it to Southern Oregon, try some other
sailing sites. Less crowded and much more scenic than Pistol:

Thursday 7/24 1 - 4 P.M. Pistol River 5.3 / 8'6" (very sinky) - op'd
mostly
Thursday 7/24 6 - 8 P.M. Flora's Lake 5.3 / 8'6"
Friday 7/25 Face Rock (Bandon) 5.3 / 8'6" overhead sets, down the line
wave, light inside
Saturday 7/26 Humbug Mountain 5.3 / 8'6" head high sets, good wave
riding, 1 other sailer
Saturday 7/26 6 - 8 P.M. Flora's Lake 4.2 / 8'3"
Sunday 7/25 Face Rock (Bandon) 5.3 / 8'6" chest high sets, down the
line wave, good wind

Drove back on Monday - Larkspur was ripping but I was too tired.
