I am planning on replacing my axxis 258 with a more
'wave' oriented board. This board for me will be the
high wind board (207#) for the coast, delta, crissy and 3rd -
as in 4.8 or better conditions.
Having never owned a glass or epoxy board, I do not
have much experience to draw upon in making my decision.
Since many of the readers of this list are equipment
experts, I would appreciate any input.
What are some opinions on the two type of materials for
a small wave board for a big guy? Any big advantages of
one material over another? What are the performance
differences (planning, smoothness, tough, etc.) among
these two materials?
Thank you.
