I stopped off at the Island yesterday to check out the conditions.
It has the potential for being a great launch spot, but the only
access I found was either on the windward side (scrambling over the
riprap and launching into onshore wind) or on the lee side of the
island (slogging through a large the wind shadow). Has anyone
found an accessible sideshore launch on the north end of the island?
