Friday: Davenport
         4.7, 8'8, 3-5pm, 3-6ft, lumpy.
The place has been "improved" with more pavement/parking, stairs
and a winding skateboard ramp. Sailed with a dead whale - no
large carnivorous fish seen. Got "Dported" one time sailing
the upper break way inside to the dead zone, When I jibed to
slog back out, a fat boy jumped all over me. I thought I was
in for my customary early season mast snap, but I escaped with
         only losing my shades.

Saturday: Limantour
5.3, 8'8, 3-6pm, clean sandbar break that backs off in a
nearshore trough, plenty of room to milk every last drop out of
the wave, still have lots of space to jibe. Side-off! Cold to
the bone! I did make it up to Tuba, but couldn't't catch a
wave there - super light near shore where they were breaking.

Sunday: Boreal
Sims 160, t-shirt + bibs, no gloves, no hat, HOT!
        "Spring conditions" I think.

Monday: Boreal
same gear + flannel shirt, gentle cool breeze.
crowd way down, much mellower, but our 2 boards
dissappeared from the lodge racks at the end of the day
while we were sampling excellent food and brew.. grrrrr.
