I was in the neigborhood so checked out the construction at 3rd.
It appears to be completed. The old lot is paved, the access road
is not. They have built a long driveway/parking lot down the side
of the golf course opposite the bay. It has the capacity for many
dozens of cars, but it will be a walk to the water for the furthest.
It's not fully paved or pretty, so perhaps there's more work to be
done.
Golf ball count:
New lot = 4 balls
Old lot = 0 balls
Also, they painted a circle in the area of the old parking lot
closest to the rigging area, turning it into a no-parking cul-de-sac.
