On Saturday I drove around Treasure Island for 15 minutes trying to
find the launch area and always expecting to be arrested by the
military police.
The only instructions I vaguely remembered from a message to this list
were `near the northeast corner'. I drove there and found a parking
lot, but no launch other than a difficult mud-climb. Also, there was
a large wind shadow (somewhat southerly wind) and I would have
hesitated to launch from there even with a good launch.
Was it just a bad day or did I miss the spot completely?
Thanks ----Luigi
