I have seen this problem on my last 2 glass boards, ASD bump and jump and
Waddell slalom board. The ASD I definitely jumped a lot, but the Waddell saw
little air time. To suggest that this was from pilot error is totally WEAK. Jump
pads will definitely help and make the board more comfortable to ride. Get this
delamination fixed before it gets worse. ASD fixed my board by drilling a series
of holes and injecting a resin-foam mix. Seemed to fix the problem pretty well.
I think that by trying to make the boards as light as possible the durability is
sometimes compromised.
