I avoided a near calamity on Saturday evening.
As I attached my base to the universal, the cup
on my Chinook base came right off of the hour glass.
Luckily, this happened before I got on the water.
On top of the cup, there are two screws which hold a lid
on the cup. I managed to borrow a socket wrench and reattached
the cup to the universal.
This is just a warning to check the attachment of the
cup to the hour glass.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Crissy report:
Saturday, 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, Light flukey winds, but fun on a slalom
board and big sail.
Sunday 5:30 pm to 7:45 pm. Great conditions. Very big ramps and swells with
the flood switching to an ebb.
